I can help by teaching you techniques to increase your confidence so you are able to grab the situations that are right for you to move forward in your life.
On this page I will cover:
Is there a difference between self confidence and self esteem?
Self-esteem is internal feelings, and self-confidence is the outward expression of those feelings.
Self-confidence means a person trusts their abilities and capabilities and other good characteristics. Whereas self-esteem, on the other hand, refers to how a person rates and sees themselves in relation to the society they are a part of.
Having high self confidence can be beneficial in many areas of life (including relationships, career, social life and state of mind) and many people who have low self confidence yearn to be more confident. Self confidence means to have faith in your own capabilities, and is usually thought to be influenced by a variety of thoughts, feelings and beliefs.
What you need to understand is that self confidence is just a skill that can often be learned. Hypnotherapy for confidence helps you to understand your current level of self confidence and the cause of low self confidence, and then to build upon this.
As your confidence levels rise so does your mood and of course this has a knock-on effect with your self esteem. Self confidence is reflected in a number of ways, such as your body language, the way you speak, how you react to certain situations and of course your behaviour.
Strangely, you will find that others notice your rise in confidence before you do. Clients often find people around them commenting on their change in mood, approach or behaviours before the client has really become aware of the change. This is because by using hypnotherapy for confidence you are using natural learning mechanisms to bring about changes in mood and behaviour.
Do you lack self confidence?
If you have high levels of self confidence you are likely to be more positive about your abilities, whereas if you have low self confidence you generally have negative thoughts about yourself and your abilities. This is usually why those people with low self confidence yearn to improve their confidence level.
If you have low self confidence you might experience feeling:
- Shy and uneasy
- Uncomfortable in certain situations
- Unsure of yourself
- Not sure what you want in life
- Negative thoughts about yourself
Causes of low self confidence
Your early years are thought to be a huge factor in your current level of confidence.
However, when you were born you were full of confidence and it is just your life experiences that have worn away at your confidence level. Because you were born full of confidence it stands to reason that your confidence can be restored as everyone is born with the ability and skills to enhance their self confidence.
It is often the case that individuals are simply unsure of how to use these skills to achieve an increased level of self confidence, and need to be guided so they can learn how.
Hypnotherapy for confidence
Hypnotherapy for confidence helps you to develop your self confidence, by teaching both your conscious and subconscious mind strategies and techniques to build confidence.
Hypnotherapy for confidence is extremely helpful in recovering from low self confidence. My hypnotherapy for confidence programme will determine the root cause of your low self confidence and then find ways to resolve it. Hypnotherapy works with the subconscious mind by changing belief systems, and replacing the negative thought processes with more appropriate and positive ones. This helps to boost your self confidence and in doing so it can completely change your life.
Remember, confidence is something you are born with and life just suppresses it, but it’s still there. It just needs to be let out again. If you need help with your confidence, give me a call.
